At today's Holmen Area Rotary Club meeting we heard from recently installed Rotary District 6250 Governor, Dr. Michelle McGrath. It was great to meet Michelle and hear about the focus for the incoming Rotary year. Michelle is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Madison. She has been extensively involved with youth programs and has been District 6250's director of the RYLA program. The goal for this year is to " Create Hope in the World" and will focus on Mental Health, Promoting Peace, Growing DEI and Unlocking the Power of Women. The District will be using the power of storytelling and the power of partnership to enhance and extend their reach into the community. As Rotarian's, there are three key commitments that get us there; Show up, Surround yourself with good people and Serve yourself so you can serve others. Showing up and participating can lead to new opportunities and avenues to serve. Surrounding our selves with good people feeds our need to belong and leads to positive outcomes. And taking care of ourselves gives us the ability to help others in a healthy way. Thank you Michelle for coming today and sharing what our District will be working towards and also sharing a bit about yourself
