Tree Guidelines
  1. Shatterproof decorations only (No glass or breakable objects).
  2. Only outside rated LED lights for trees.
  3. Decorations only allowed on tree, not on ground around tree.
  4. All extension cords to the power source are provided.
  5. Signage is provided with your tree number, sponsor name and logo.
  6. Trees are available to decorate starting on Saturday, November 22.Decorating must be completed by Thursday, December 4th.
  7. Trees will be lit daily from 6 pm to 10 pm.
  8. First lighting will be Saturday, December 6th at approximately 6 p.m. at the end of the Jingle Fest Parade.
  9. Voting guidelines:
    • Three winners:  People's Choice (1 winner) and Judges Choice (2 winners)
    • People's Choice - vote for your favorite tree - winner will have a $250 donation to the Boys and Girls Club in their name.
    • Voting can be done anytime via Venmo to @Holmen-Rotary -$1 per vote or at the park before & after the parade. No limits on number of votes.
    • Judge's Choice - a panel of 3 judges will vote for their favorite tree.  The  top 2 winning trees will have a $250 donation to the Boys & Girls Club in their names.
    • Voting ends at midnight on Dec. 31. Winners will be announced on Jan 2 on our webpage:  holmenarearotary.org
  10. All decorations, lights, hooks, and wires are to be removed between January 1st and January 3rd, 2026. 
  11. No time to remove those decorations?For a $20 donation, the 5th Grade Student Council members at Sand Lake Elementary will take down your decorations on Jan. 2Your decorations will be returned to you.
