We are going to take advantage of the nicer weather this Saturday to put up the major decorations in Halfway Creek Park. The Club needs help hanging lights on the Gazebo and the stage and putting up the sidewalk arches and decorating them. If you are looking for something to do Saturday morning we could sure use the help so come on down. 

The cutting of the trees will happen in two phases- 

Tuesday Nov 21st  - meet at Pederson Tree Farm 10:00 AM. Pederson tree farm is located south of West Salem on County M just before Barre Mills. You can ride out with Bob - meet at Wisconsin Building Supply at 9:30. If meeting us out there, the address is N3462 County Hwy M, West Salem, WI 54669. Alex will have his big trailer and I will have Adam's big trailer which should be enough for the 25 trees. 

Our Club is co-hosting the Onalaska- Holmen Thanksgiving Dinner at the Armory in Onalaska with the Onalaska Hilltopper Rotary Club

We need six volunteers to help with this task to set up the tables and chairs.

Our Club is co-hosting the Onalaska- Holmen Thanksgiving Dinner at the Armory.  We need six volunteers to help take down the tables and chairs on the day after the event.
 

The Club participates in the Rotary Lights Parade downtown. Members are encouraged to walk with the Rotary Float  from the starting point to Riverside Park for the initial lighting of the displays. Walkers should get to the starting point by 4:30. Parade starts at 5PM 

Floats will be staged on  6th street south of Main street. You can't miss the big Rotary Wheel float. 

We will be pulling the Rotary Float in the Jinglefest Parade. Help us put a face to the club and walk along. Wear some light up gizmo to help add a festive atmosphere. We will meet where the parade is being staged at Johnson and Main. We are in slot number 9  Look for the big yellow Rotary wheel. 

It is time for fellowship and celebration with our friends from the Onalaska Hilltopper Rotary Club!  Bring a guest if you want.

This is the Club's night to man the Rotary Lights display in La Crosse 

Rotary Lights is a special event that combines the efforts of the regional Rotary Clubs to create a spectacle that receives hundreds of thousands of food items a year for the area food banks. The success of the event requires that the Rotary Clubs do their part. This is a combined effort with the Holmen Interact Club. Please help us do our part. The task for the day is to take down as many of the lights as possible and get them ready for storage. There are three shifts. Please sign up for one or more shifts. Bring a friend or two or three. See you there!

**Dress for the weather. Wear a heavy jacket, warm boots, hats, gloves, etc. Plan to be
outside taking down decorations and lights. Social distancing is required.**

The Club needs to dismantle and pack away Holidays in the Park. Trees are disconnected and dragged to the street, electrical cords are rolled up, lights removed from the gazebo and stage , light bridges dismantled etc. The plan is to head over to the park right after the Wednesday HARC meeting and get it done. 

Time to make America Beautiful Again! The Holmen Area Rotary Club has committed to keeping the Rt 35 (Holmen Drive) clean from the 4 lane Route 53 Overpass south to Schnick Road. Be part of the team that keeps your community clean. We meet at the Wisconsin Supply parking lot. Safety vests, bags will be provided. Bring your friends!

The Holmen Area Rotary Club will hold their Service Auction fundraiser on Friday Evening, May 3rd at the luxurious Waterfront in the spacious Cargill Room and patio. The event starts with a social hour at 5:00 and includes an appetizer buffet, a Live Auction of unique items and services, bucket raffles and more. Auctioneer Alex Goodman sets a fun and active pace for the evening. Live Auction items in the past have included gourmet cakes, airplane flights, sailboat excursions, weekend getaways, special dinners, grass cutting, car detailing and many, many more. Items will be listed on the website as they are announced. Tickets are only $35 or invite some friends and reserve a table for 8 at $300. Reserved table centerpieces have a sign announcing the company or organization that is reserving the table. Price of the ticket includes a fabulous hot appetizer bar and there will be a cash bar
